Mercedes-Benz has launched its most luxurious electric SUV in Singapore, the EQS SUV, priced from S$588,888 with COE. The three-row electric flagship represents the pinnacle of the brand's EQ electric vehicle technology wrapped in an opulent SUV body style.
With seating for up to seven passengers, a WLTP range exceeding 600km from its 108.4kWh battery, and the stunning 56-inch MBUX Hyperscreen spanning the entire dashboard, the EQS SUV makes a bold statement. Dual motors produce 536bhp and 858Nm of torque, propelling this 2.8-tonne luxury liner to 100km/h in just 4.6 seconds.
The second row offers limousine-like legroom with electric adjustment, while the third row — though best suited for children on longer journeys — provides genuine seven-seat capability. At this price point, the EQS SUV competes directly with the BMW iX and the upcoming electric Range Rover. Is it worth every cent? We spent a weekend finding out.
