Under the hood of the new Russian brand's crossover lies a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, with front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive options.
It became known in the first half of February 2026 that the AGR holding company, together with the Chinese company Defetoo, decided to launch a brand called Tenet Plus on the Russian auto market. The brand officially unveiled its firstborn – a mid-size crossover with the index L6 – earlier this month. Now, new details have emerged about the crossover preparing to enter the Russian market.
Production of the Tenet Plus L6 will be established at one of the Russian factories owned by the AGR holding company. Details about the production site and level of localization will likely appear later. According to the company's plan, sales of the new model in Russia will begin in the third quarter of 2026; a more precise launch date and the SUV's price will be announced later.
As expected, the Russian manufacturer's partner in this project is the Chinese brand Lepas (part of the extensive portfolio of the Chery corporation). The donor vehicle for the Tenet Plus L6 is the Lepas L6 crossover, which, in turn, is an export version of the Chery Fulwin T7. As the brand's press service reported today, the overall length of the Tenet Plus L6 is 4554 mm, width – 1852 mm, height – 1681 mm, and the wheelbase – 2700 mm. The ground clearance of the crossover is 187 mm.
The mid-size crossover Tenet Plus L6 belongs to the SUV C+ segment and is based on the PMA (Plus Modular Architecture) platform. The model will be offered with both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. In the first case, under the hood is a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline TCI engine with multi-point fuel injection and a timing chain drive. Its maximum output is 147 hp, torque – 225 Nm, and it is paired with a six-speed dual-clutch automated transmission.
The all-wheel drive crossover received a 150-horsepower engine with a VGT turbocharger featuring variable turbine geometry and a direct fuel injection system; its displacement is the same – 1.5 liters, and the maximum torque is 270 Nm. This engine comes with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Both versions can run on Ai-92 gasoline, and the fuel tank volume is 57 liters.
The Tenet Plus L6 features a radiator grille with a so-called "diamond pattern" and a chrome frame, two-tier LED headlights, a "mono taillight" and a spoiler with two vertical brake light strokes at the rear, while the crossover's profile is adorned with two-tone 19-inch alloy wheels. Additionally, the model has plastic body cladding around the perimeter, silver roof rails, and chrome trim around the side windows.
Inside the Tenet Plus L6, trimmed in eco-leather, are front seats with extended cushions, heating, and ventilation; the driver's seat features power adjustments and memory function. Second-row passengers have access to illuminated Type-C and USB charging ports. The cabin also includes ambient lighting, dual-zone climate control, and a wireless smartphone charging device (power – 50 W).
On the front panel of the Tenet Plus firstborn, there is an 8.8-inch virtual instrument cluster, as well as a vertical tablet for the infotainment system (with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto), with a diagonal of 13.2 inches. The model also features Sony audio with eight speakers, seven airbags, adaptive cruise control with lane-keeping assist, forward collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, and other driver assistance systems.
Recall that last week, Tenet Plus officially announced another model: the second vehicle of the brand on the Russian market will be the Tenet Plus L4 crossover.
