AVTOVAZ has launched production of a Vesta modification with a revised list of equipment; the price will be announced later.
The Lada Vesta sedan appeared in 2015, with the station wagon joining the family in 2017. Updated four-door and five-door versions debuted in February 2022, with the first batch of restyled cars rolling off the assembly line at AVTOVAZ's plant in Izhevsk. Production was later halted and then moved to the facility in Tolyatti, restarting in March 2023. Sales of the 2026 model year Lada Vesta began in Russia in December 2025. Now, AVTOVAZ's press service has announced the start of production for a new version of the model.
The distinguishing feature of the new Lada Vesta modification is a revised list of equipment, which now once again includes climate control (a feature present in pre-reform Vestas produced at the Izhevsk plant). As the Russian manufacturer's press service reminded, the system automatically maintains a set temperature: it receives signals from three sensors, regulates the temperature, and distributes air flows.
The climate control unit includes several physical rotary knobs with mini-displays that show temperature information, as well as airflow direction and intensity (in the form of symbols). Additionally, climate control settings can also be viewed on the 10-inch touchscreen of the infotainment system.
The new Vesta version is also equipped with the Lada Connect Start telematics system. It is reported that with its help, owners who have installed the "Mir Lada" app can remotely monitor the vehicle's condition and location, engine temperature, and battery charge level, track fuel levels, and check whether the doors and trunk are locked and whether the engine is running. AVTOVAZ added that the telematics system has been included in the list of basic Vesta options and is now available for all trim levels.
The company reminded that previously all Lada Vesta versions received remote engine start and keyless entry functions. The manufacturer also traditionally did not name the supplier of the new climate control systems for the Vestas but emphasized that "the main components of the climate system are supplied by Russian enterprises."
The sales launch date and price of the new Lada Vesta version with climate control and telematics will be announced later. As of today, the recommended retail price for the sedan ranges from 1,581,000 to 2,020,000 rubles, and for the station wagon from 1,711,000 to 2,150,000 rubles. Their cross versions are priced at 1,818,000 – 2,131,000 rubles for the Vesta Cross and 1,938,000 – 2,251,000 rubles for the Vesta SW Cross.
Recall that last spring, AVTOVAZ began selling refreshed versions of the "heated" sedans and station wagons – the Lada Vesta Sport. They are equipped with a modernized 1.8-liter gasoline engine, with maximum power increased from the standard 122 to 147 hp, and torque from 170 to 184 Nm. This engine is paired with a six-speed manual transmission.
