The third career victory for the Carville Racing driver came on his birthday. Tommy Kaily and Sergey Kuznetsov brought Fresh Racing a double podium at ADM Raceway. Arseniy Tsaregradtsev once again proved to be the strongest among the juniors following the training camp results in Myachkovo.
The fourth round of the Russian Drift Series Grand Prix concluded in Moscow. The weekend at ADM Raceway followed the traditional style of this circuit with changeable weather – sunshine gave way to torrential rain, and the final runs took place on a drying track. In such challenging conditions, driving skill and luck came to the forefront, with even experienced athletes lacking the latter.
One of the sensations was the defeat of Georgy Chivchyan already at the TOP-32 stage. The leader of Takayama Forward Auto faced Artyom Leitis (Carville Racing), and in this duel, the judges needed as many as two re-runs (OMT) to determine the strongest. The winner was Artyom, who sensationally left the four-time RDS GP champion outside the TOP-16. One of the heroes of the TOP-32 stage was Artur Zelyony, who defeated Ilya Popov from Systeme Electric Oderzhimye Motorsport. In extremely difficult weather conditions, Zelyony in the Flanker F brilliantly handled not only his car but also his opponent, who had achieved his first victory in RDS GP at the previous round in Nizhny Novgorod.
At the TOP-16 stage, another sensation occurred – Damir Idiyatulin was defeated. The Fresh Racing driver lost in a duel to the future round winner Anton Kozlov (Carville Racing). In another TOP-16 pair, the judges needed an OMT run to determine the winner – in a tight and contact-heavy battle between Pyotr Borodin (Takayama Forward Auto) and Danila Vorobyov (Lukoil Racing Drift Team), Vorobyov emerged as the best. At the TOP-16 stage, Artyom Leitis (Carville Racing) and Timofey Dobrovolsky (Takayama Forward Auto) ended their fight – the former lost to Grigory Gusev (Lukoil Racing Drift Team), and the latter lost to Arkady Tsaregradtsev (Systeme Electric Oderzhimye Motorsport). Anton Klyamko (Heatcarbon Racing) managed to advance to the quarterfinals, winning his duel against Mikhail Davidyants – the confrontation between two BMWs of different generations became one of the brightest battles of this stage.
Three Fresh Racing drivers managed to break into the TOP-8 – Sergey Kuznetsov and Denis Migal met in an intra-team derby, while Anton Klyamko became the opponent of Tommy Kaily. In this stage of paired runs, Kuznetsov and Kaily emerged as the strongest, meeting in the semifinals. Tommy secured the ticket to the decisive battle of the day, while Sergey went to fight for third place. The second finalist was Anton Kozlov, who defeated Arkady Tsaregradtsev. The reigning two-time RDS GP champion lost in a duel with Sergey Kuznetsov – the Fresh Racing newcomer climbed onto the podium for the second consecutive round.
His teammate Tommy Kaily managed to continue his streak of podium finishes, but the Irishman failed to secure his second victory of the 2026 season. In the difficult conditions on the drying track, the driver made a mistake that prevented him from contending for first place – Anton Kozlov became the strongest in this battle. The Carville Racing driver became the winner of a round of the country's main drift championship for the first time since 2025. The triumph at ADM Raceway was a birthday gift for Anton Kozlov, who celebrated his birthday right at the round.
The results of the round in Moscow did not affect Tommy Kaily's position in the individual standings. The Irish Fresh Racing driver has significantly strengthened his lead and has every chance of securing the championship title early at the next round in Krasnoyarsk.
However, behind the legionnaire, the battle for the vice-championship has intensified to the limit – Anton Kozlov moved into second place, leading Sergey Kuznetsov by just four points. Arkady Tsaregradtsev, in fourth position, trails Kozlov by only 27 points, while Damir Idiyatulin in fifth place is 60 points behind Anton. So, much in this battle will depend on the weekend at the "Red Ring."
In the team standings, Fresh Racing continues to lead, with Systeme Electric Oderzhimye Motorsport moving into second place with a slight advantage over Takayama Forward Auto. Carville Racing, currently in fourth, if they can continue their streak of successful results, has every chance of entering the prize-winners' circle at the end of the 2026 season.
The fourth training camp (UTC) for juniors, supported by the Aimol Junior young motorsport talent development program, took place at ADM Raceway with the participation of four athletes. During the fourth round of the Russian Drift Series Grand Prix, Arseniy Tsaregradtsev (12 years old) was once again unmatched, winning both the qualification and the paired runs. Second place in the paired runs of the UTC was taken by Stepan Popov (14 years old), third was Luka Migal (13 years old), making his debut in junior runs at this round, and fourth was Daniil Arefyev (10 years old).
The next, fifth round of the Russian Drift Series Grand Prix this season will take place in a month – on August 1 and 2, RDS GP will head on a Siberian tour to the "Red Ring" track in Krasnoyarsk. The weekend at the mecca of Russian drift could very well name the new series champion, who would secure the title early, one round before the official end of the 2026 season.
