Кроссовер Voyah Passion S: старт предзаказов и ажиотаж

The new Voyah-brand crossover has debuted in a single top-tier configuration. The lineup is expected to expand later.

The sporty electric Voyah crossover was officially announced in May. The Chinese name of the model is Chasing Light S, while the international name is Passion S. The latter name—minus the letter S—is also used by the sedan from the Dongfeng-owned brand, though the crossover has little in common with the four-door model. Today, pre-orders for the electric crossover opened in its home market. However, the manufacturer has not yet disclosed all specifications. For now, only the top-tier Ultra+ trim is available for order.

The Voyah Passion S crossover features "muscular" sides, frameless doors with semi-hidden handles, a glass roof, two-tier headlights, and a full-width taillight. The lower part of the bumper includes active shutters, while the hood and front fenders have additional air vents. Carbon fiber parts, including a rear spoiler, are available as optional extras. The crossover rides on 21-inch wheels.

The Passion S has a length of 5050 mm, a width of 1998 mm, a height of 1636 mm, and a wheelbase of 3000 mm. The trunk volume is 584 liters, which increases to 1744 liters with the second-row seats folded down. There is also an additional front compartment with a capacity of 80 liters.

Inside, there is a narrow instrument display and a giant multimedia system screen consisting of two displays (each 15.6 inches diagonally). The multimedia system runs on Huawei's operating system. A box with heating and cooling functions is hidden in the central armrest. The seats likely feature heating, ventilation, and massage functions. The equipment list also includes an augmented reality head-up display, a 27-speaker audio system, and the ADS 5 autopilot from the aforementioned Huawei (including four lidars, one of which is a 896-line unit above the windshield). Additionally, the Voyah Passion S Ultra+ can "roar" like a supercar.

The top-tier crossover features an 800-volt architecture, air suspension, adaptive dampers, and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system. The total power output is 646 hp. Chinese media report that the Voyah Passion S Ultra+ is equipped with a 98.1 kWh battery. The range is 740 km according to the CLTC cycle. It is officially stated that this crossover can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds.

Incidentally, a certification document for the new model was previously leaked online. According to it, the crossover could also be offered in a rear-wheel-drive version with a 408-hp electric motor. Local media report that the "simpler" versions will come with an 81.6 kWh battery (630 km range).

The Voyah Passion S Ultra+ is preliminarily priced at 309,900 yuan, equivalent to about 3.6 million rubles at the current exchange rate. Voyah apparently took the Xiaomi YU7 crossover as a benchmark for the new model. The most affordable all-wheel-drive version of the Xiaomi model (496 hp) currently costs 279,900 yuan (3.2 million rubles). The top-tier Xiaomi YU7 GT (1003 hp) will set buyers back 389,900 yuan (4.5 million rubles). Meanwhile, even the not-yet-fully-revealed Voyah Passion S has already caught the attention of Chinese consumers: within just one hour, the crossover garnered approximately 10,300 orders.
