The new Arcfox crossover will be offered as a hybrid or a full electric vehicle. The model will hit the domestic market before the end of this year.
In 2026, the BAIC-owned brand Arcfox began updating its model lineup. In March, the modernized Alpha S5 (or αS5) sedan entered the domestic market. In the spring, the production minivan Wendao V9 and the four-door S3 debuted, and in June, sales of the restyled T1 hatchback started. Now, another premiere has been announced – a completely new crossover, the Arcfox Alpha T7 (or αT7). The brand itself has so far shared a few images of the crossover. However, the crossover's certification has already been entered into the database of the local Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, so the main specifications are known. But first, let's go over the design.

The Arcfox Alpha T7 is clearly aimed at a younger audience – the crossover has a sporty image. The "sporty" elements include air intakes located under the compact headlights and on the front fenders, as well as a large spoiler on the tailgate. In addition, 21-inch wheels (including those with bright orange inserts) and yellow brake calipers are provided.

Other exterior features include a light bar with LED "notches" and numerous LED dots serving as daytime running lights, a full-width taillight (also with a pattern of diode "dust"), and semi-flush door handles. Finally, according to the certification, the crossover can be equipped with an advanced autopilot featuring a lidar above the windshield. Incidentally, the brand has announced that IT giant Huawei is among the suppliers. That is, it is possible that the driver assistance system comes from this company.

The length of the crossover is 5020 mm, the width is 1996 mm, the height is 1685 mm, and the wheelbase is 3040 mm. The interior has not been shown yet. It is known that the Arcfox Alpha T7 is strictly a five-seater.

The new crossover will be available with hybrid or fully electric powertrains. The first version features a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine (105 hp) operating as a generator and a 272-hp electric motor. The electric version gets a 309-hp motor. According to preliminary data, the electric motors are located on the rear axle. The batteries are from CATL, but their capacity has not yet been disclosed.

The Arcfox Alpha T7 will enter the domestic market before the end of this year. The brand is known for its quite attractive prices. The top versions of the new crossover with its striking appearance are expected to be priced around 150,000 – 200,000 yuan (approximately 1.7 million – 2.3 million rubles at the current exchange rate). For comparison, the "youth-oriented" crossovers Xiaomi YU7 and Aito M6 currently cost from 233,500 and 229,800 yuan respectively (from 2.7 million and 2.66 million rubles).
