Specialists from JLR's Classic Works division have restored a 1993 Range Rover Classic and given it a finish inspired by the latest Range Rover SV Ultra. Both vehicles are painted in the exclusive Titan Silver color and will be sold together on August 14 at RM Sotheby's auction during Monterey Car Week (California, USA).

The first-generation Range Rover is considered an iconic vehicle and is highly sought after by wealthy collectors today. Some of them send their Range Rover Classic to specialized workshops for customization, aiming to get an upgraded SUV with a more powerful engine. JLR's Classic Works division also works on tuning classic models, but not in this case — the Range Rover Classic Titan Silver features canonical technical specifications with a 3.9-liter gasoline V8 and a 4-speed hydromechanical automatic transmission, all of which has been perfected to run like clockwork.

The body of the Range Rover Classic Titan Silver has also been brought to perfect condition and visually aligned with the Range Rover SV Ultra unveiled in April. The classic and modern models share a common trim style, including the Titan Silver color with a liquid metal effect — achieved through real aluminum particles in the paint.

The 16-inch wheels of the Range Rover Classic Titan Silver have undergone diamond cutting and feature the same two-tone finish as the 23-inch wheels of the Range Rover SV Ultra. The Range Rover lettering on the hoods of both SUVs uses the same font.

The interiors of both vehicles are upholstered in Ultrafabrics fabric in the same gray-white color scheme, with backrests adorned by a unique pattern created through laser perforation. The restoration and finishing of the Range Rover Classic Titan Silver took over 2,000 hours. Features include power-adjustable front seats, air conditioning, cruise control, a sunroof, and a modern audio system with Bluetooth connectivity for external devices, while the head unit is designed in a classic style.

The Range Rover Classic Titan Silver and Range Rover SV Ultra LWB will form a single lot at RM Sotheby's auction in Monterey, with an estimated value of $750,000 to $950,000. We believe it will still reach a million during bidding, because a Range Rover Classic in perfect condition is definitely worth it.
