Geely's new electric four-door sedan is offered with dual-motor all-wheel drive and the most powerful battery. The first batch includes 999 units.
Geely revealed the exterior of the Galaxy TT electric sedan (hello, Audi!) in June, with a presentation held in early July. As a reminder, the manufacturer considers the four-door to be an entirely new model, but it appears to be a variant of the Geely Galaxy E8 electric car and its related hybrid, the Geely Galaxy Starshine 8. So today, pre-orders for the Geely Galaxy TT opened in China. However, for now, only the top-spec Ultra version is available for order. Moreover, according to local media, this is a limited edition batch comprising just 999 units.
The Ultra trim differs from the standard Geely Galaxy TT in its exterior decoration. The top-tier four-door features carbon fiber mirror housings, similar inserts on the bumpers, plus red accents at the front. The Geely Galaxy TT Ultra also gets black 19-inch wheels and red brake calipers, along with black emblems and badges. A rear spoiler comes as standard. The Ultra version's body is painted in a bright blue color.
Dimensions are the same as the regular sedan. Length is 4999 mm, width is 1919 mm, height is 1479 mm, and the wheelbase is 2920 mm. Trunk volume is 528 liters (including the underfloor compartment), and there is an additional 43-liter compartment under the hood.
Inside, there is dark red leather. The standard equipment list for the Geely Galaxy TT Ultra also includes: a panoramic roof, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, a multimedia system with a 15.4-inch screen, an augmented reality head-up display, an AI-based assistant, a 23-speaker audio system, heated steering wheel, auto parking, a box with heating and cooling functions, and heated, ventilated, and massaging seats. Finally, there is an autopilot system, which includes a lidar above the windshield, 11 cameras, 3 millimeter-wave radars, and 12 ultrasonic radars.
The Geely Galaxy TT Ultra features an 800-volt architecture and adaptive suspension, and the sedan is offered with dual-motor all-wheel drive. A 245-horsepower electric motor is mounted at the front, and a 333-horsepower one at the rear. Total output is 578 hp and 597 Nm. Peak power mode is activated by a separate button on the steering wheel, but it lasts only 20 seconds. The four-door is equipped with the top-tier CATL battery with a capacity of 75.2 kWh. It is announced that the Ultra version accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, with a top speed of 210 km/h. The range is 650 km according to the CLTC cycle.
The top-spec Geely Galaxy TT Ultra sedan is preliminarily priced at 209,800 yuan (approximately 2.4 million rubles at the current exchange rate). "Standard" versions (including the rear-wheel-drive Galaxy TT) will become available for order a bit later.
