On July 23, a major test drive was held for vehicles shortlisted in the five main categories of the 2026 National Automotive Business Experts Award "TOP-5 AUTO". In addition to competing for victory in their respective categories, each model will also vie for the title of "Car of the Year".
The event was attended by jury members, representatives of automakers, and award partners. They tested over 25 vehicle models.
Traditionally, the large-scale test drive took place on the M-11 "Neva" expressway, with support from the North-Western Concession Company, part of the infrastructure holding NPS. The company built and operates the toll road section from Moscow to Solnechnogorsk – this infrastructure annually serves as the testing ground for the award finalists. The high level of safety and excellent road surface quality on this section create ideal conditions for objectively assessing the dynamic characteristics of vehicles.
The award ceremony for the winners of the "TOP-5 AUTO 2026" prize will take place in October in Moscow.
