«Пежо Ситроен Рус» и United Petrochemicals начали выпуск моторных масел в Калужской области

Lubricant manufacturer United Petrochemicals (UPEC, part of the Sintec Group) and the spare parts, auto chemicals, and motor oils brand Autorepar (Peugeot Citroën Rus) have announced the start of a strategic partnership.

At a technology park located in the Kaluga Region, production has begun of motor oils under the Russian brand Autorepar — the successor to the international Eurorepar line, founded by French automakers Peugeot and Citroën (Stellantis automotive group). The brand is focused on the Russian market for spare parts and after-sales service.

Under the agreement, the technology park will provide Peugeot Citroën Rus with a full production cycle — from formulation development and adaptation to serial production and multi-stage quality control of finished products.

Thus, three flagship Autorepar products will roll off the assembly line:

  • Optimum 5W-30: fully synthetic motor oil for high-performance gasoline and diesel engines. The product meets API SN and ACEA C2/C3 standards, as well as PSA B71 2290 and MB 229.52/229.51/31 specifications.
  • Resource 5W-40: all-season synthetic oil for engines not equipped with diesel particulate filters (DPF). The oil is certified to ACEA A3/B4 and has a wide range of approvals, including BMW LL-01, VW 502 00/505 00, and RENAULT RN0700/0710.
  • Expert 0W-30: a low-ash product (using Low SAPS technology), specifically developed for modern hybrid powertrains and vehicles with start-stop systems.

The entire line is certified and is available in one-liter and four-liter containers, as well as in an industrial format — 205-liter drums. According to the manufacturer, the products are equipped with an anti-counterfeiting protection system.

According to United Petrochemicals Sales Director Gennady Zadorozhny, the partnership with Autorepar is part of the company's strategy to develop contract manufacturing of lubricants. He noted that the enterprise already has experience producing products for international automotive brands and expects further growth in this area.

Alexey Kozlov, Director of Marketing and Business Development for Service and Spare Parts, noted that the Autorepar motor oil line continues the development of the Eurorepar brand in the Russian market. He added that previously developed technologies were used in creating the products, and the oil formulations have been adapted to the operating conditions of vehicles in Russia.
