The new modification of the crossover will receive a 150-horsepower 1.6-liter turbo engine, paired with a seven-speed robotic gearbox.
The appearance of a new "local" brand called Jeland on the Russian auto market became known in early February 2026. It is one of the joint projects of the Russian holding company "AGR" and the Chinese company Defetoo. The firstborn of the young brand was the Jeland J6 crossover, which was unveiled back in the spring and went on sale last month. Now the company has officially announced a modification with different technology.
We are talking about the Jeland J6 AWD: such a crossover will have a TGDI turbo engine with direct fuel injection under the hood, its displacement is 1.6 liters, power – 150 hp, maximum torque – 275 Nm (available in the range from 2000 to 3500 rpm). The engine works in tandem with a seven-speed preselective robot with two "wet" type clutches.
The new modification is equipped with an all-wheel drive system with an electromagnetic multi-plate clutch (automatically connects the rear axle when the front wheels lose traction with the surface) and a function that helps reduce wheel spin, as well as six driving electronics modes – Eco, Normal, Sport, Snow, Mud, and Offroad.
As noted in the brand's press service, at the start of sales, the all-wheel drive version will be offered only in the Prestige trim. Such a Jeland J6 will receive original two-tone alloy wheels, and in the cabin, a new virtual instrument cluster with an 8.88-inch diagonal will be installed on the front panel. In addition, its infotainment system is equipped with an eight-core processor.
The equipment list of the Jeland J6 AWD in the Prestige version also includes: multi-layer front windows, a panoramic roof with an area of 1.45 sq.m, a wireless smartphone charging device (power – 50 W), heating for all seats, front seat ventilation function, an audio system with eight speakers, a set of driver assistance systems, and a 540° panoramic view system with a "transparent chassis" function.
The vehicle provides the possibility of installing a tow hitch for towing a trailer. The crossover body is galvanized, and hidden cavities are treated with anti-corrosion materials. The winter package of the Jeland J6 AWD includes, among other things, heated steering wheel, windshield, and washer nozzles.
The company noted that the production of the all-wheel drive modification of the Jeland J6 using full-cycle technology is organized at the plant in Shushary (St. Petersburg), which is now owned by the "AGR" holding. The price and start date of sales of the new product will be announced later. It is worth noting that the recommended retail price of the current front-wheel drive crossover with a 1.5-liter turbo-four (147 hp, 210 Nm) and 6DCT ranges from 2,290,000 to 2,699,000 rubles.
