MB RUS JSC, the exclusive distributor of Foton pickup trucks and vans in Russia, is expanding the brand's light commercial vehicle lineup. Following the all-metal Foton View van, an armored version has been introduced to the market, developed by the distributor in collaboration with a domestic body manufacturer. The new model is available for order starting July 2026.
The factory van, with a gross weight of 3,495 kg, features technical specifications that allow for complex retrofitting without exceeding the vehicle's permissible loads or compromising its residual payload capacity. The body and glazing of the armored Foton View have been reinforced and can comply with ballistic protection classes Br1, Br2, and Br3. The vehicle is designed for transporting valuable cargo, as well as for use by cash-in-transit services, security organizations, and special transport units operating under heightened safety requirements.
The vehicle can be equipped with a multimedia system featuring a surround-view camera, heated steering wheel, heated driver's seat, heated rearview mirrors, and air conditioning, as well as electronic assistants: blind spot monitoring, forward collision warning, and lane departure warning systems. This ensures the vehicle remains comfortable and intuitive for daily use, which is especially important for drivers working on intensive urban routes.
